Description
The Conde Cavaliers kick off Mardi Gras in Mobile, Alabama each Carnival season. Their name is derived from the French General Prince de Conde, for whom the local Fort Conde is named. The locomotive float seen here is part of their three-unit emblem, used since their formation in 1977.
