This view of the Old Mill in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is one of my favorites. Its rustic charm beckons you to visit a bygone era where you can enjoy a relaxing meal in a wonderful restaurant. The restaurant here attracts not only tourists but the local residents as well. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. The local shopping area is full of local artisans, galleries and other special shops of interest. This is a fun tourist spot to visit. Don't miss it!
Although I have no formal training in photography, I have always enjoyed taking pictures. Photography has been a hobby for over 30 years: from the simplicity of a tele-instamatic camera, to learning the intricacies of the more challenging 35mm. I explored 35mm low light photography at Mardi Gras parades with my dad's old Argus camera which had no light attachment. Also used it on vacations, still getting by without any light attachment - the camera was so old an attachment could no longer be purchased for it, if it in deed was ever available. Later, I purchased a Yashica 35GSN and had the ability to use external lighting with it. Eventually I added an APS camera to the mix and in recent years have gone digital. I have truly enjoyed the...
